INTO 2025

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year peeps! YEE HAW!

If someone had told me a year ago that I’d be living on an island as a dive instructor, I would’ve dropped my jaw and said, “No fucking way.” Then I probably would’ve asked how much for a fast-forward button.

And yet—here I am.

Looking at where I am now, I feel incredibly proud of myself for pursuing my dreams, even when they felt scary and even when other people didn’t quite understand them. It’s obvious to anyone who knows me: I love what I do. I’m living the life I was always meant to live.

Over the past year, I’ve pushed myself way outside of my comfort zone (which, if you ask me, is where all the best things happen). I’ve learned so much, grown in ways I didn’t expect, and embraced the kind of well-roundedness I truly value. I’m deeply grateful to have the health and the opportunity to keep trying new things.

Usually, I set goals for the new year—and of course, I still have a few. But what makes this year different is that one of my main goals is to actually enjoy the life I’ve worked so hard to create. To soak it in. I’m looking forward to another year of challenges, celebrations, and growing alongside like-minded people. I can’t wait to reflect on all the lessons I’ll learn and the beautiful souls I’ll meet along the way.

I’m continuing to build my dive instructor journey—deepening my training and gaining more experience. Outside of that, I’m leaning more into creativity: spending time with my camera, making art, and doing things simply for the joy of it. Life feels full in the best way.

And yes—Butters is doing great, too. He just turned 3! I know everyone says this, but wow, they really do grow up fast. My friend Nathan made the sweetest little video of him swimming on his birthday, so I thought I’d share it here, just in case it brings a smile to your face too.
